In traditional tracker-based BitTorrent workflows, clients can contact a tracker to announce their participation and receive information about other peers. The tracker does not need to deliver the file itself. Instead, it can help participants discover potential connections. โœ” Helps peers discover one another โœ” Coordinates participation information โœ” Does not carry the complete file โœ” Supports peer-to-peer connections Once peers are discovered, the actual content can be exchanged directly between participating clients. This separation is important because discovery and data transfer are different functions. BitTorrent demonstrates how a network can use coordination services while still keeping the actual file transfer distributed across peers. Finding a peer and transferring data from that peer are two separate pieces of the BitTorrent architecture. @BitTorrent @justinsuntron #TRONEcoStar #TRON
