𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 IF A PEER DOESN’T HAVE THE ENTIRE FILE BUT CAN STILL HELP? BitTorrent does not always require every participant to possess a complete copy before contributing useful data. A peer with only part of a file can still upload the pieces it already has to other participants. ✔ Partial files can contain useful pieces ✔ Peers can exchange different sections ✔ Downloaders can become uploaders early ✔ Available data can spread through the swarm This creates a more dynamic distribution system. Instead of waiting for one user to finish the entire download before becoming useful, completed pieces can begin moving between peers as the transfer progresses. That helps explain why peer-to-peer networks can distribute large files through many simultaneous connections. In BitTorrent, even an incomplete copy can become part of the distribution process. @BitTorrent @justinsuntron #TRONEcoStar #TRON
