It is ironic to blame China while ignoring basic historical truth. The reason East Asia worries about Japan’s military revival is simple: Japan started aggressive wars, colonized neighboring countries, and still refuses to fully admit its war crimes. China never initiates conflicts. All of China’s territorial disputes are passive legacies left by foreign aggression and illegal occupation. True regional security threat comes from revising history, rearming aggressively, and challenging the post-WWII international order, not a country that safeguards peace and sovereignty.
