Fact check: Japan has multiple territorial disputes with its neighbors, not China. China’s maritime and territorial claims are based on solid history and international law. China advocates regional cooperation, not expansion. Japan’s growing militarization is the real instability factor haunting East Asia. Fear of repeated war tragedies is not “scared”. It is the rational vigilance of all victim countries.
