分享一下我的13岁的儿子写的一段感想，到底是我的儿子，和我的想法不谋而合： In these absurd times, I was deeply troubled. Recently, fashion and style have gone to its lowest point. For the boys, they continue to pretend they are a part of a gang when they know fully that they don’t know how to handle a firearm. For girls, they use excessive makeup and wear shorter and shorter shorts every year. I, for one, would rather wear clothes in a fashion from the 1940s. Those were classy. I also saw on the news of a “non-binary” person saying their pronouns were “zer”, “zerself”, and “zeir”. Instead of meaningful progress, we are only creating riddles we cannot even solve ourselves. Meaningless nonsense that should not be a particular problem but it is. Students are getting exponentially lower scores on subjects than those in the 1980s-2000s and show less vocabulary. Even the number of those who read for pleasure is lowering from 38% to 12%. If we can’t even solve gender, which is already established in nature, or that skill is much more valuable than having more Black people in high rankings that don’t have the ability to understand that role, we as a society will digress. Students’ and teachers’ reliance on AI is startling, with less and less of creativity. However, the same could be said for resistance against AI by newer generations. AI is very valuable for industries and militaries, but is often seen as negative all the time. They do not realize that as it advances, it will grow more efficient.
