Somewhere Beneath the Same Moon The moon is still the same as it was when we were young. Only the people beneath it have changed. There was a time when we believed that everyone we loved would stay. That every goodbye was temporary, and every promise had a tomorrow. But life has a quiet way of teaching us otherwise. Some people leave without saying goodbye. Some stay in our memories longer than they ever stayed in our lives. And some become strangers who still know everything about our hearts. The saddest thing about growing older is not losing our youth. It is learning to live without the people we once thought we couldn’t live without. We stop waiting for messages. We stop asking why. We learn to smile when someone mentions a name that still hurts. And one day, we realize that healing doesn’t always mean forgetting. Sometimes it simply means remembering without telling anyone. The moon has watched countless people fall in love, grow apart, and disappear. It never asks them to stay. Perhaps that is why it is so beautiful.
