What if we built an open-source GTA set in San Francisco, 1906? With only one afternoon, I've already built a small map MVP covering the central street and harbor district with @ChatGPT Astra 6 and GPT 6.1 Sol. (Sure that I will use @AnthropicAI Opus 5.5 to continue improvement but I got ran out of limit on Claude Code lol) Now I'm looking for people to build this together. Three chapters: Before the Fire — Chinatown gangs, Tong Wars, and the Barbary Coast underworld. The Earthquake — April 18, 1906. The city burns. Order collapses. Rebuilding the Underworld — New territory, new alliances, new power struggles. The vision: an open-source, GTA-style historical sandbox grounded in real San Francisco history.
