【I propose that Musk @elonmusk establish an award to serve as an alternative to the Nobel Prize!】 Here are the reasons: 1. Establishing one's own award is more prestigious than receiving one. Musk was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize this year for purchasing Twitter to uphold freedom of speech; however, given the current values of the Nobel Committee, I believe there is no chance he would win it, even a hundred years from now. So, why not establish his own award? Creating one's own award is clearly far more meaningful and valuable—and has a much more profound impact—than accepting an award from others. After all, consider this: how many people today still remember the names of Nobel Peace Prize laureates from a few years ago? Yet, the name "Nobel" is something everyone remembers. Think back to when Twitter enforced political correctness and restricted free speech; rather than having his voice stifled there, Musk simply bought the platform outright! Similarly, if he feels the values behind the current Nobel Prizes are too far removed from his own, he might as well establish a new award. 2. Cultural influence on society is more profound than scientific influence. Establishing an award represents the promotion of specific values. If that award achieves world-class status, it effectively advocates for those values—or, more precisely, promotes a specific set of cultural values. The promotion of cultural values can have a more profound impact on the world than science itself—a point Mr. Musk likely understands better than anyone. I recall Musk once saying something to this effect: what is the point of conquering Mars if Western nations devolve into places defined by political correctness and LGBT agendas? Therefore, establishing an award would allow him to better promote the values he champions. 3. As the world's leading power, the United States should consider establishing its own award on par with the Nobel Prize. Observing U.S. President Trump’s persistent desire to win a "Peace Prize" brings to mind a different question: There is something inherently incongruous about the president of a superpower yearning for an award from a small European nation. If the values underpinning the Nobel Peace Prize were sound—or at least aligned with those of the United States—the situation might be acceptable. However, if there is a vast disparity or even a fundamental conflict in values, it is galling for the U.S. to lack an equivalent award of its own, forcing it to covet a prize from a small nation. IV. The Main Reasons for the Nobel Prize’s Decline and Shift Toward Political Correctness Beyond the influence of Europe’s culture of political correctness in recent years, the primary reason is the prize's lack of competition. A lack of competition means the award can be bestowed arbitrarily without any pressure. Yet, the pursuit of truth and objective reality is difficult to sustain within such a "comfort zone." If another award were established—one that allowed the world to make direct comparisons—the Nobel Prize would be forced to take its standards seriously; otherwise, it would risk losing the world's respect. V. My Diminished Regard for This Year’s Nobel Prizes (Literature and Peace) In the past, the Chinese public held the Nobel Prize in high esteem; at least two netizens even claimed that my theoretical work, *Rules of Religious Freedom*, was of Nobel caliber—a statement regarded as high praise. However, after reading the rationales for this year’s awards, my opinion of the Nobel Prize has dropped. I perceive a rapid erosion of the values it represents, which negatively impacts the guidance of global values. The recent reactions from President Trump and Senator Rubio seem to reflect a direct clash of values. That is precisely what prompted this proposal.
