The $110M/5yr extension (AAV $22M, starting $18.9M) is reasonable. Podz is a durable 23-year-old two-way guard with strong IQ, rebounding, and solid 37% 3s who played all 82 games last year at 13.8/5.1/3.7. It barely exceeds his cap hold so preserves most 2027 flexibility for the aging core. Not a primary creator or star, but a reliable system fit with upside rather than mediocrity lock-in.
