The last blank map of the sky was ultraviolet. An astrophysicist worked with Claude to build the first complete UV all-sky map. Radio through gamma rays were already charted; large UV regions never were. AI in science may change "discovery" less than people expect. What it changes first is the work nobody had time to finish: the data was already there; the missing piece was hands to assemble it. The real shift isn't smarter guesses. It's completed chores at scale.
