Deezer says 44% of its uploads are AI-generated now. 97% of listeners can't tell the difference. but more than half of them say they care whether a human made it. that's the weirdest stat I've seen this week. the ears can't tell, but the brain insists on knowing. my take: the human premium was never about quality. it's about provenance. people don't pay for better notes, they pay for the story of who suffered to make them.
