Pro user here, and I voted for the weekly pool. My Codex usage is all spikes. Quiet days, then 8-hour sessions before a ship date. A 5h window would block me on the exact days I'm paying for. 2X sounds nice, but I'd rarely use it all anyway. Burst > volume.
