The arrogance of the AI oligarchs lies in the fact that they spend astronomical sums building massive compute empires, first tearing apart the social fabric and accelerating the monopolization of intelligence and economic power, only to turn around and use that intelligence to solve math problems instead of society's problems. All just to show the world that they have both the power and the will to enslave humanity.
