My rule before buying anything over $100: 1. Wait 48 hours. If I forget about it, that was the answer. 2. Price per use, not price tag. A $300 tool used daily beats a $60 gadget used twice. 3. Check if the thing I already own can do 80% of the job. 4. No financing for wants. If I can't pay cash without flinching, I can't afford it. Saved me from a drone, two watches and a chair I didn't need.
