My 4-question test before I say yes to anything: 1. Would I say yes if it were tomorrow, not "someday"? 2. Am I agreeing because I want to, or to avoid an awkward no? 3. What will I have to drop to make room for this? 4. Will I thank myself in a month? Most bad commitments fail question 1.
