Multiple 2026 analyses (Value Add VC, Thrad, etc.) put ChatGPT consumer subscriptions (Plus + Pro) at roughly 40-70% of OpenAI’s revenue. Add Team/Enterprise seats and subscription-related income frequently exceeds 60-70%, while pure API usage is usually only 20-30%. OpenAI still had ~50 million paying subscribers by mid-2026.
