A school roof collapsed in Peshawar, Pakistan. At least 18 dead, 17 of them kids, plus a teacher. Dozens more hurt, and some children were still trapped under the rubble. Back in June, a tutoring center roof in Lahore came down too. 14 kids gone. Twice in less than six months. Both times, parents just sent their kids off on what felt like a normal morning. This kind of thing usually isn’t bad luck. It’s old buildings nobody inspected and rules nobody enforced. Rest in peace to the little ones and their teacher. Do you actually know when your kid’s school was last checked for safety?
