Barclays thinks a SpaceX–Tesla merger could be announced before Tesla's annual meeting in December. Their likeliest structure: SpaceX buys Tesla in an all-stock deal, about 0.7 SpaceX shares per Tesla share, plus a premium. The number I'd watch isn't the ratio. Musk would own about 37% of the combined company but hold roughly 56% of the votes. That's the part Tesla shareholders would actually be voting on.
