GITHUB UNVEILS HYDRAFUSION MAX — CLAUDE AND GPT-6 MODELS CAN NOW WORK TOGETHER ON CODING TASKS! 🤖⚡ On October 14, GitHub upgraded its multi-model orchestration system, HydraFusion, and introduced HydraFusion Max. Instead of relying on a single model, the system can dynamically coordinate Claude Opus 5.5, GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol, and GPT-6 Luna to generate, review, and repair code based on the task. 🔥 The update introduces adaptive reasoning budgets, using medium reasoning effort for initial drafts and higher effort for reviews. Its improved Cascade workflow can inspect an initial solution before deciding whether to request repairs or escalate to a stronger model, while Critique workflows can use multiple models to inspect the actual workspace in parallel. 🚀 HydraFusion Max is designed for more demanding coding tasks and remains in research preview, available to eligible Copilot Pro, Pro+, Business, and Enterprise users across VS Code, the Copilot app, and Copilot CLI.
