$SIVE $AVGO Broadcom says optical scale-up runs on standard CW lasers, and that's the market Sivers Semiconductors is sizing Glasgow for. "These are standard lasers. You don't need fancy combs," Broadcom's Rajiv Pancholy said at OCP. OCI puts 4 wavelengths on every fiber each way and the roadmap runs to 16, so every step up asks for more distinct DFB wavelengths per fiber. Multi-wavelength DFB arrays are what Sivers sells, and its Glasgow InP line is sized for more than 100 million CW DFB lasers a year from 4Q 2027.
