Give your head a shake, Mark. If taking a shit outside city hall counts as “personal freedom,” what about everyone else’s freedom not to step in it? Free to identify however you like. Good luck finding a family doctor, though. Free to work your ass off and still need a food bank. Free to pay through the nose for a shoebox. Free to keep making payments on an SUV that’s taking an overseas trip without you. Hell of a sales pitch. But credit where it’s due: I can tell the Prime Minister he’s full of shit, say it publicly, and get on with my day. That genuinely is something great about Canada. And I wouldn’t trade it.
