@elonmusk really is the undisputed king of marketing. A long-established aerospace technology: cold-gas thrusters. A thruster-powered stunt car that can hover for just nine seconds. With such a crippling endurance limitation, it has no practical value and no viability for mass production. The pressure system, installed at the expense of the rear seats, is estimated to produce an explosion equivalent to 12 kilograms of TNT if damaged in a collision. Thanks to Musk’s marketing, this utterly useless stunt car is practically being hailed as a beacon of human progress. 0 technological breakthroughs + 0 commercial value + 0 possibility of mass production + the equivalent of driving around with 12 kilograms of TNT strapped to your back. So where’s the light? In the devotion of his believers?
