美国警察在逮捕嫌疑人时，经常会宣读一段著名的警告——米兰达权利（Miranda Rights） “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you.” 中文翻译： 你有权保持沉默。你所说的一切，都可能在法庭上被用作对你不利的证据。你有权聘请律师。如果你无力聘请律师，法庭将为你指派一名律师。 旧香港警察也有自己的警诫词： 你有权保持沉默，但你所说的一切都将成为呈堂证供！ 那么，为什么中国大陆没有采用类似的米兰达权利告知制度呢？
