Bloomberg Oct 16 Markets Wrap: chipmakers finished an eighth straight losing session, the longest slide since 2008. $CRWV sank 12% on the day. Nasdaq 100 posted its worst week since the April 2025 tariff scramble. S&P 500 fell 1.1%. Same piece has $NVDA CEO Jensen Huang telling Bloomberg Emily Chang in Berlin that this bout will pass, that AI still sits at the start, and that the upside hits every industry and country. Credit worry around AI buildout debt is what the wrap keeps circling. Monday open will show if that stays in the tape or fades after the weekend.
