Freud emphasized: Female jealousy is structural, not personal. When a woman sees another woman who is more attractive, loved, or successful, deep subconscious panic is triggered. The hidden logic is simple: Resources of completeness, preference, and high-quality attention in this world are limited. If another woman has more, my chance to be fulfilled decreases. Females rarely form the pure, unconditional alliance seen in male friendships. Subconsciously, other women are always competitors fighting for the same sense of wholeness.
