CNBC Oct 13: $DELL CEO Michael Dell told David Faber the memory squeeze gets worse next year. Asked about memory, he said it may be a four-year problem because there is just not enough supply. New fabs take about four years to build in his telling, so capacity started now may not show up until 2029 or 2030. Same sit-down: $NVDA H100 rental prices had just hit a one-year high, which he read as compute demand still running ahead of iron. Separately, the Dell Sept 1 FY27 Q2 release put AI-optimized server revenue at $16.4B for the quarter and ending AI server backlog at a record $95B. Next print to watch is whether enterprise AI orders thicken the way he describes, or whether memory cost keeps chewing into server margins while $MU trades the shortage the other direction.
