AI is no longer only a data-center story. Acurast’s latest developments show a different direction: • 335K+ smartphones onboarded • Compute Providers in 175+ countries • 1B+ transactions processed • AI models demonstrated on smartphones • Hardware-backed TEE verification for processors The interesting question is not whether smartphones will replace GPUs. It is whether a globally distributed network of phones can provide a more accessible, confidential, and verifiable compute layer for AI and Web3. Acurast is building toward that thesis by turning smartphones into decentralized processors, while using trusted hardware to verify how workloads are executed. This is where Crypto AI becomes more than a narrative: AI creates demand for compute. DePIN coordinates physical resources. TEE technology adds verifiability and privacy.
