So watching a Grok Bot pick up the phone, find the number itself, sort out the time, read everything back for approval, then report what the restaurant actually said... yeah, that one hit different. The demo isn't the impressive part. Google did the AI phone-call demo back in 2018 and it went nowhere. The impressive part is Brian Roemmele made it shareable. One link and anyone can clone the whole thing. Demos impress. Templates spread. The last mile of agents was never intelligence. It was the phone call nobody wants to make.
