$GFS $SIVE $TSM $GFS is probably the one to watch first. It reports Nov 4, and SCALE engines with $SIVE arrays inside would show up in GF's silicon photonics line well before anything Sivers breaks out. GF's October has been busy on the packaging side too. TSMC signed it to a $2B, five-year deal for CoWoS silicon interposers out of Malta, ramping 1H28, and C.C. Wei said on last week's call TSMC has "a little bit shortage on the back end." TSMC's own roadmap has optical engines moving onto the interposer next (COUPE on Interposer). Then on Oct 14 the US–Japan fab landed on the same campus, with the two governments putting up the capex. So Malta ends up with GF's photonics platform and a piece of TSMC's interposer supply in one place, and Sivers is the laser already sitting in GF's reference designs. That could turn into one of the bigger routes for Sivers lasers into CPO. Then again, a reference design spot mostly gets Sivers onto the shortlist. If GF names even one SCALE customer on Nov 4, that'd be the first real tell.
