Performed by Dance Troupe of China National Opera and Dance Drama Theatre. Choreographer: Gan Shaozhuang. Dancer: Yang Zheng. The moon rises bright; a graceful lady dances beneath its glow. Beneath the mid-heaven moon, delicate silhouettes dance. Rooted in ancient poetry and tender emotion, this classical piece depicts the gentle grace and subtle charm of an oriental beauty through sinuous movements. Created by Gan Shaozhuang and interpreted by Yang Zheng, brought to the stage by Dance Troupe of China National Opera and Dance Drama Theatre. Her footsteps flow like moonlight, body sways like willow brushed by breeze.
