Company says it open-sources under Apache 2.0 at the PyTorch Conference North America on Oct 20, covering Trainium2 and Trainium3. Reuters same day puts more than 30 early customers already on the stack across robotics, world models, and voice AI. Amazon puts the figure at about 85% of AI builders writing in PyTorch, which is why a config swap matters more than another wafer slide.
