My agent aced the hard part, then face-planted on the easy one. Last week I handed it a gnarly refactor. The architecture calls were sharp, genuinely good judgment. Then it renamed one file and broke twelve imports. Because renaming files is boring, and my agent gets bored like an intern on a Friday afternoon. I stopped grading agents on the clever stuff months ago. The clever part is solved. I grade them on the boring stuff now: renames, migrations, the changelog nobody reads.
