6,800 private Muse chats were one DNS lookup away from strangers. Meta just paused Muse's share-link feature. Security firm Claroc pulled the links straight out of public DNS records: every share URL was built from the chat's title plus a random ID, so the hostname told you what was inside before you even opened it. Loan applications, revenue reviews, a whole company calendar. Just sitting there. I've sent share links to friends when a prompt finally behaved. My new rule: if I wouldn't paste it into a public gist, I don't share the chat. Treat every share link as public and permanent, because that is exactly what it is. #Privacy #Meta
