OpenAI's own billing bug just burned ~40k accounts: the plan you paid for and the usage cap you were actually hit with were two different things. Tibo says the bug is fixed and every affected user is being contacted individually. Credits are going out, plus a public apology. This is how you own a screw-up — but a billing bug like this should never have shipped.
