Ragnarok Online Memories — The Final Chapter: The Boss I Could Never Defeat 💀🤣 After all those adventures, I thought my journey in Ragnarok Online was only just beginning. I still had so many places to explore. So many monsters to fight. So many cards I wanted to collect. And so much Zeny I wanted to earn! Just think about how far I'd come… I started as a poor little Novice with a tiny dagger, struggling against Porings. I chose to become a Swordsman because Izlude was nearby and the job change was easy. 🤣 I spent an entire night grinding just to reach Job Level 10. I got destroyed by an Angelring on Poring Island. I got beaten to death by a gang of angry Peco Pecos. I finally bought my first two-handed sword. I spent countless hours grinding until I reached Job Level 50, partly because I wanted more skill points… AND PARTLY BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THE KNIGHT JOB CHANGE TEST!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I became a Knight and finally got my very own Peco Peco mount! I explored the Undersea Tunnel, fought countless monsters, and slowly upgraded my equipment. Eventually, I had a +6 two-handed greatsword and a full set of basic +6 gear. Then I traveled to Glast Heim, where I learned to fight Ghost Knights using Counter Attack. I died. I ran away. I got killed by monsters other players dragged into my path. But I always came back. Because that's what adventurers do, right? YOU DIE, YOU RESPAWN, AND YOU TRY AGAIN!!! ⚔️🔥 And then… One day… Something completely unexpected happened. Something no leveling guide could have prepared me for. Something even my +6 greatsword and Counter Attack couldn't defeat. MY OLDER BROTHER GOT A GIRLFRIEND!!! 💀🤣🤣🤣 Congratulations, bro! I'm happy for you! Really! But there was just one tiny problem… I GOT KICKED OUT OF THE ROOM. And with that… I LOST ACCESS TO THE COMPUTER. 🫠 No computer. No Ragnarok Online. No more grinding. No more adventures. No more Glast Heim. No more riding my beloved Peco Peco into battle. And just like that… MY ENTIRE RAGNAROK ONLINE CAREER CAME TO AN END. Not because I got bored. Not because the monsters were too strong. Not because I ran out of Zeny. Not even because I rage-quit after dying too many times. I WAS DEFEATED BY MY BROTHER'S LOVE LIFE!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The ultimate final boss wasn't hiding inside a dungeon. It wasn't an MVP monster. It wasn't even part of the game. IT WAS REAL LIFE. 🌚 And unlike Ragnarok Online… There was no Fly Wing to escape. No Priest to resurrect me. No save point to return to. And absolutely no Counter Attack that could save my computer privileges. GAME OVER. RAGNAROK ONLINE — THE END. May Buddha have mercy on my poor little Knight. 🙏🤣 But you know what? More than 20 years later, I still remember those adventures. The monsters. The cities. The friends and strangers. The excitement of every level-up. And even those ridiculous deaths. I never got to finish that adventure. But somewhere in my memories… A little white-haired Knight is still sitting on his Peco Peco, waiting for the day he can explore that world again. ❤️ Thank you, Ragnarok Online.
