My cloud loyalty just got complicated. I picked my provider two years ago assuming frontier models would stay locked to their home clouds, then OpenAI models landing on Google Cloud torched that assumption. I run my own agents across two clouds and the billing reconciliation alone eats a weekend a month. If every cloud serves every model, the only moat left is price and uptime. Who wins that race?
