10 years to find. 10 hours to weaponize. Yesterday Wiz dropped critical PHP vulnerabilities — found with AI (Wiz Atlas + Gemini 4 Argon + GPT-5.6 Sol). The bug had been hiding in the codebase for over a decade. 75% of the web runs PHP. Every PHP version released in the last 20 years is vulnerable. Yesterday, government portals across Europe went offline rather than risk it. Here's the part keeping me up at night: Wiz itself warned that AI lets attackers reverse-engineer the patch with minimal effort. "Pre-AI, this manual work would be difficult to implement and even harder to scale. With AI this is no longer a barrier." So now AI finds decade-old bugs in days — and AI turns the fix into exploits in hours. The hunters and the poachers buy their ammo from the same store. My call: the next week isn't about PHP anymore. It's about whose AI runs faster — the researchers' or the attackers'. Are you patching tonight, or betting the attackers are slower? 🔵 Fellow Premium members, let's connect!
