Japan immigration's new move: can't touch the boss, so deport the worker. According to VISA Report, a gyoseishoshi says a client was refused a work-visa renewal. The applicant was fine. The current employer was fine. The current job was fine. He still got 30 days and was told to go home. His crime? His previous job was at a staffing agency. An officer reportedly admitted off the record that immigration keeps a blacklist of problem agencies, and anyone who worked for one gets refused. So the agencies are on a list. Raided? No. Charged? No. The boss keeps his business. The worker packs his bags. "Orders from above." Nobody's responsible, somebody always pays.
