Stop telling AI to "be concise." It has no idea what that means. To one model it's 50 words. To another it's 500. "Concise" is a vibe, and models are terrible at reading vibes. So I stopped describing. I started drawing boxes. Copy this. Paste it at the end of any prompt: FORMAT: - Exactly 3 bullets - Max 15 words each - No intro, no outro, no "Here you go" Three lines. The model can't argue with a number. That's the whole trick: adjectives are vague, shapes are measurable. Give the model a ruler instead of a mood and it measures itself. Two more boxes I reuse constantly: For comparisons: FORMAT: table, 2 columns (Option | Catch), max 4 rows, no preamble For plans: FORMAT: numbered steps, max 5, one line each, every line starts with a verb Steal all three. They work on every model I've tried — the box matters more than the model. Fellow AI builders — follow for more. I bet 90% of prompts fail because people describe vibes instead of shapes.
