Coinbase just got hit with another regulatory fine in Ireland 🇮🇪 The Central Bank of Ireland has fined Coinbase's Irish entity €3.25 million for failures in customer fund safeguarding and outsourcing controls between 2020 and 2025. On the bright side for users, Coinbase notes it self-reported the issues, and no customer funds were lost, nor was anyone locked out of accessing their money ⚠️ What makes this more interesting? It's been less than a year since another Coinbase subsidiary was hit with a €21.5 million fine in the same jurisdiction. Another reminder of how tricky regulatory compliance is for crypto giants right now 🔍
