I’ve watched this debate unfold, and people from many countries Egypt, Iran, Greece among others have stepped up to support China. Meanwhile, some Turkish users keep claiming they are now friends with Japan and posted evidence of Japanese war crimes as rebuttals to the Chinese. Not a single Japanese person has come forward to say “yes, we’re on Turkey’s side. Keep posting these pictures that we’ve been trying to erase from the internet.”
