🔥 you don't need an NVIDIA GPU to run Qwen3.8-27B locally anymore Intel Arc Pro B60 (24GB) in a Thunderbolt eGPU on an M1 Max MacBook Pro, under Linux — just measured today. Qwen3.8-27B Q4_0, all 66 layers on the card: • decode 17.28 tok/s • prompt ~428 tok/s Caveat: needs private xe/ANV driver patches that aren't upstream yet, and hot-plug is untested.
