Many people initiate a breakup, only to feel uncomfortable when their ex begins a new life. Does this mean you are greedy or possessive? Not necessarily. By choosing to leave, you were the one who decided to end the relationship. Yet, seeing someone else step into your former place can still trigger your ego. You were the one who wanted to end things, but you didn’t expect the other person to move on so quickly. Is this a toxic desire for control, or simply a natural human reaction?
