Even called the dollar amounts right🫣🫣 Taiwan’s Economic Daily News reports an estimated $5 billion in prepayments to secure ABF substrate capacity: $3 billion from $INTC and roughly $1 billion each from $AMD and $NVDA, based on analyst and industry estimates. Unimicron, Kinsus and Nan Ya PCB are accelerating expansion. Kinsus alone approved NT$23.5 billion for ABF capacity over three years. Customers willing to fund capacity upfront give suppliers a much stronger reason to build.
