Supporting a hunger strike and constantly rationalizing a method that threatens human health and life is the textbook definition of cognitive dissonance. I refuse to believe there is any legitimate doctor, under any so-called 'medical supervision' anywhere in the world, who would sanction this. I say this as someone who suffers from severe depression, anxiety, and OCD: mental illness is NOT a free pass to justify behaviors that endanger your own life and the safety of others. Do you honestly think a flimsy 'don't copy me' disclaimer magically absolves you of the potential risks and harm you're inflicting on yourself and impressionable onlookers? When is this absolute farce finally going to end?
