The F-35 has a well-documented overheating problem The standard procedure when F-35 flies at Mach 0.7 at an altitude of below 7600 meters, is to open the weapons bay every 10 minutes and let the heat out.🤣 Compound condition for overheating: The aircraft must be flying at high subsonic speeds (Mach 0.7) at low altitude in hot weather (outside air temperature of 90°F/32°C or higher), all while keeping the weapons bay doors closed for more than 10 cumulative minutes, WILL RESULT IN OVERHEATING.🥵 Jokes aside, the F-35 is a capable fighter, provided it doesn't fly too fast. Now you understand why Pentagon's budget chief fainted during a F-35 breifing.
