🐱🔥 MONSTER HUNTER 2 (DOS) — CHAPTER 40: RATHALOS!!! THE KING OF THE SKY!!! 🐉⚔️ After arriving at Kokoto Village, it was finally time to explore a new hunting ground! FOREST AND HILLS!!! 🌳⛰️ And my first major target? RATHALOS!!! THE KING OF THE SKY!!! HAHAHAHA!!! 🤣 This time, I had a specific objective. I NEEDED HIS TAIL!!! Since I was hunting a single Rathalos, I decided to bring my GREAT SWORD!!! ⚔️ And I already had a plan. STEP ONE: SHOCK TRAP!!! ⚡ Wait for Rathalos to get trapped… STEP TWO: ATTACK THE TAIL!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!! And finally… THE TAIL IS SEVERED!!! HAHAHAHA!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Perfect! With his tail removed, the rest of the fight became much easier. But there was still one annoying problem… THIS GUY LOVES FLYING!!! 💀 Seriously!!! Every time I wanted to attack… WHOOSH!!! Rathalos flew into the sky! ME: "COME DOWN HERE!!!" RATHALOS: "NO!!!" 🐉 ME: "I HAVE A GREAT SWORD!!!" RATHALOS: "THEN GOOD LUCK REACHING ME!!!" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! 🤣 So I had to be patient. Wait for him to land. Find an opening. Attack! And repeat! Eventually, after taking enough damage, Rathalos would retreat to his nest. And that was usually where I finished the hunt. But instead of killing him… I PREFERRED CAPTURING HIM!!! 🪤 Wait until he was vulnerable. Set the trap. Use Tranq Bombs. And… QUEST COMPLETE!!! 🎉 RATHALOS CAPTURED!!! TAIL OBTAINED!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Compared with fighting Rathalos and Azure Rathalos together in the Ancient Tower, this was much more manageable. One monster. One Great Sword. One severed tail. And one very annoying flying dragon! 🤣 THE KING OF THE SKY HAD BECOME MY NEXT SOURCE OF MATERIALS!!!
