The border dispute just is the CCP’s excuse to punish India’s some China policy. The 1962 war caused by India granted asylum to Dalai Lama and Tibetan. The CCP has recently been stirring up trouble along the China-India border, most likely related to India's strengthening of ties with Japan. The Japan-India foreign and defense ministers' 2+2 consultations are scheduled for mid-next month. Although India withdrew from the US-led Indo-Pacific strategy, which once eased China-India relations, India's growing closeness with Japan has left the CCP deeply uneasy.
