🐱🦎💜 MONSTER HUNTER 2 (DOS) — CHAPTER 43: CHAMELEOS!!! THE INVISIBLE DRAGON!!! ⚔️🌳 After surviving the Rathalos and Rathian couple… It was time to challenge another Elder Dragon! CHAMELEOS!!! 💜 A mysterious monster that could turn invisible! HAHAHAHA!!! 🤣 This monster was both easy and difficult. Why? Because the hardest part wasn't necessarily fighting it… IT WAS FINDING THE DAMN THING!!! 💀 From what I remember, Chameleos usually stayed around a particular area of the Jungle. So my first priority was simple. PAINTBALL!!! 🎯 I had to mark it before it disappeared! Because if I missed… POOF!!! WHERE THE HELL DID IT GO?!?! 🤣🤣🤣 HAHAHAHA!!! And my second priority? CUT OFF ITS TAIL!!! I remembered that breaking its tail disabled its invisibility. So naturally… TIME TO BRING THE GREAT SWORD!!! ⚔️ Find Chameleos. Hit it with a Paintball. Get behind it. Aim for the tail. SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!! And finally… TAIL SEVERED!!! HAHAHAHA!!! 🎉 ME: "NOW TRY DISAPPEARING!!!" CHAMELEOS: "…" ME: "WHAT'S WRONG?! LOST YOUR MAGIC TRICK?!" 🤣🤣🤣 Of course, it could still poison me and cause trouble. And since Chameleos was an Elder Dragon, ordinary traps weren't going to work! But once I could keep track of it and deal with its invisibility… The rest became much more manageable. KEEP ATTACKING!!! WATCH OUT FOR POISON!!! AND EVENTUALLY… QUEST COMPLETE!!! 🎉 Another Elder Dragon defeated! Looking back, I can't remember every detail from almost twenty years ago. But I still remember my basic strategy: PAINTBALL FIRST!!! GREAT SWORD SECOND!!! CUT THE TAIL!!! THEN FINISH THE HUNT!!!
