I was a vocal critic of social trading apps. I believed they skew traders’ decision-making and influence their behavior without offering any tangible incentives. and I still do. but one thing I got wrong is how fun and rewarding the competitive aspect can be. social trading is effectively an MMORPG, where you climb leaderboards, build a reputation, make a name for yourself, and grow your audience. I decided to experiment with social trading and I put 10k on fomo and ran it to 1.5M publicly in 3 weeks, eventually running 10k to 1.8m in about a little over a month. 100% onchain, without a single token transferred in from an external wallet. I wanted to keep the challenge as real and transparent as possible. next run will be 8 figures.
